How to Use Your Cafe Barriers
Our cafe barrier systems consists of two very sturdy posts made from stainless steel (which won’t chip, scratch or corrode) between which you place your premium quality banner. The cafe barrier posts are sturdy so they won’t tip over in the wind if you are using them outdoors, or if they get jostled. The posts have rubber bases that won’t scratch your flooring and that also means the rubber posts can be rolled away and don’t have to be lifted if they need to be moved or packed away.
The cafe barriers have a crossbeam across the top and bottom and you slide your fabric cafe banner over the crossbeams and attach it to the end posts. The banner is slightly shorter than the length of the crossbeams which allows wind to pass around the cafe barrier and improves stability. The 1 meter cafe barriers have a 950(W) x 760(H)mm banner, the 1.5 meter cafe barriers have a 1350(W) x 760(H)mm banner, and the 2 meter cafe barrier has a 1950(W) x 760(H)mm banner.
How Many Cafe Barriers Do I Need?
As single items, our cafe barriers come in three lengths: 1 meters, 1.5 meters and 2 meters. To work out how many cafe barriers you will need measure the length of each line of the barrier area. The corners of the barrier area can share the same post, but please bear in mind that the posts have bases that are 320mm in diameter so you’ll need to make sure that they aren’t in the way of tables or thoroughfares. Why are the graphics smaller than the café barrier beams?
The cafe banner graphics are a bit shorter than the length of the cross beams: this allows wind to pass and improves stability. The 1.2 meter cafe barrier have a 1050mm x 760mm banner, the 1.5 meter cafe barriers have a 1350mm x 760mm banner, and the 1.7 meter cafe barrier has a 1550mm x 760mm banner
How do I set up café barriers?
The café barriers have two cross beams (one at the top and one at the bottom). The fabric cafe banner gets slid over these beams and then attached to the posts. The quick-release clips make it very easy to put the banner in place.
Will café barriers scratch my floor?
The café barrier posts have rubber bases which won’t scratch floors.
How heavy are café barrier posts?
Our posts are sturdy enough that the weight means the posts won’t tip over, even in high wind. The bases of the posts are rubber-coated, so they can be rolled away instead of picked up.
