What is Correx?
Correx is the brand name for polypropylene fluted board, a type of corrugated plastic. It is lightweight, durable and waterproof, making it a popular choice for temporary or low-cost outdoor signs.
How big can my board be?
The maximum size of a single Correx sheet is 8x4ft (2438 x 1219mm). Larger designs will be printed across multiple sections, which can be positioned side by side to create a larger image. Please contact us if you need help planning a large display.
How thick is your Correx board?
Our Correx board is 5mm thick for extra durability.
Can I use a Correx sign outdoors?
Yes. Our printed Correx signs use weatherproof UV inks and are suitable for outdoor use. Correx is particularly suited to temporary signage, with its lifespan depending on exposure, weather conditions and how securely it is installed.
Where do you drill holes into your Correx boards?
Our standard drill holes are 6mm in diameter and positioned 20mm in from the corners. Please keep important text and graphics clear of these areas. If you need different hole positions or sizes, please contact us before ordering to discuss your requirements.
Can you cut Correx boards to a custom shape?
Yes. Please supply a cut path with your artwork to show our cutter where to cut. Your design and chosen shape must be suitable for the fluted Correx material. We will advise if any changes are needed.

How do I display Correx signs?
Correx signs are lightweight and can be displayed using cable ties, suitable adhesive tape or screws, depending on the surface and location. They can also be suspended using wire through pre-drilled holes. For outdoor use, ensure the board is securely supported and fixed to suit the conditions.
What resolution do you print Correx signs at?
We print Correx signs in full colour at a high resolution of 1440dpi. For the best results, supply high-quality artwork suitable for your chosen print size.
Is Correx recyclable?
Correx is made from polypropylene, which can be recycled where suitable facilities accept it. Check with your local recycling provider or commercial waste contractor before disposal, as printed Correx boards may require a specialist recycling service.

What format should my artwork be in?

Yes. If you are ordering multiple Correx boards of the same size with different designs, you can upload multiple artwork files. Please clearly state how many boards you require for each design and ensure the quantities match your order total.
Can you colour match?
Our printers use CMYK inks. Please supply your artwork in CMYK and be aware that printed colours can differ from those shown on a screen. If you need a specific colour match, we offer a personalised colour matching service. Please contact our sales team before ordering to discuss suitability and pricing.
Can you edit my artwork or create a design from scratch?
Yes. Our design team can amend existing artwork or create a design from your brief. Select the appropriate design service when ordering and provide your instructions, wording, logos and any images you would like us to use. We will provide a proof for your approval before printing.

Yes. You can collect your order or arrange collection from our factory in Manchester. Select the collection option during checkout.
