What is Foamex Board?
Foamex, also called foam board, foam core board or PVC foam board, is a board which is made by compressing PVC. It is lightweight, very durable, and has a smooth finish. Foamex is very popular for cheap indoor signage.
How big can my foam board be?
Your board can be as big as you wish, there are no restrictions. However, boards are supplied at a maximum sheet size of 8 x 4ft (2438mm x 1219mm), any foam board printing orders larger than this will be split into sections.
How thick is your Foamex board?
Our Foamex board is available in 3mm, 5mm, and 10mm thicknesses.
What resolution do you print Foamex boards at?
We print all our foamex signs at high resolution 1440dpi in full colour.
How do you drill holes into your Foamex boards?
Drill holes are placed 20mm in from the corners using an 6mm drill bit. Please ensure important information on your artwork avoids these areas.
Can you cut Foamex boards to a custom shape?
Yes! We ask that you provide cut paths with your artwork file for our cutter to follow. Your artwork and desired shape must also be suitable for Foamex, however we will always advise if not.

How do I order a Foamex sign?

What format should my artwork be in?

Can I upload more than one image per order?
If you’re ordering more than one foamex board of the same size, and have various pieces of artwork to supply, our uploader will allow you to add as many images as you need to complete you order.
Can you colour match?
Our printers produce CMYK images and artwork supplied in this format will be printed with the colour values stated. We do offer a personalised colour matching service please contact our sales office for more information and pricing.
Can you edit my artwork?
Yes, we can make amendments to your artwork. For this you will need to select one of our design services, which will allow for approx 1 hour or 2 hours design time depending on the package you choose.
Can I collect from store?
If it is convenient for you to collect or arrange collection from our factory in Manchester, you can select this option during the checkout process.
